I was born of a British mother who was born in Halifax Yorshire of British parents also born in Ylorkshire. My mother married my Canadian father in Halifax in 1945. I have my mother’s birth certificate and my parents British marriage certificate. (My father was then with the Royal Canadian Airforce as a navigator in the UK. My mother followed my father to Canada as a “war bride” I married a British citizen in the UK in 1973. I have my wife’s UK birth certificate and our UK marriage certificate. Our daughter is a dual national (Canadian and British. I would like advice on how to apply for UK citizenship. I have read information on this but hope you can help me with the application process. I wish to apply
We were both born in England lived in Canada 51 years. Have Canadian passports only. Travelled to England last year with our ETA’s. Totally confused now by duel citizenship and needing 2 passports.
